reason 5 vs ableton

thinking about getting into reason. any thoughts? pros and cons?

i'm super over reason

ableton + massive is what i am into

i am biased but having used both, fuck reason.

why anyone would use reason as their main DAW is beyond me.

yeah chris was the only person i know still repping reason recently at all and even he says so.

#1 main con is that you cannot use VSTs

sequencer blows.

yeah thats pretty major. ill just keep using ableton probably... theres no point trying to learn reason.

plenty of people make good shit on reason, for what its worth. i just think its super limited.

yeah thats why i was considering using it. was workin on a tune with sol.id in reason and it piqued my interest a little bit

ableton8 + 303 = whats up

I guess it depends on what you are looking for. if you are looking for vst's and sound quality and have a computer to support that shit, yeah...if you don't and your interested why not. the worst thing that could happen is you learn what you like.
