Stupid Ableton Question

Hey youse guise....

I'm trying to figure out how to copy/paste envelope automation. I've checked online and they say it's Ctrl + D or Apple + D for Macs. I'm just trying to get a yay or nay on this before I head off to work tonight because time is of the essence, yes?!

cmd+d is duplicate, it will copy and paste whatever you have highlighted

I don't know the hot key for for copy or pasting of envelopes on os x

the only ones I know copy and paste what is highlighted, which will include your audio or midi clip

you can highlight and right click to get the edit menu for automation, not as fun or efficient as a hot key I know, sorry I couldn't be of more help

when I look at the hot key for the automation lane, they have a modifier symbol that I do not recognize, I mean ableton says it has a hot key, I just don't know what that damn button is!

On OSX it is Command+Alt+C for envelopes. If you do it in the lower window you can just control C it like a normal copy though.
