I have still not booked a hotel... no reason other than laziness.

Shane - can you name hotels near your place? I tried the zip code route, but I got confused.

there are a couple like holiday inns and la quintas around here within about 5 mins from the compound and 10 or so from downtown.

for sure!! we got a hotel somewhere.... apparently we have it from Tues - Sun but I don't know if JJ and I will stay that long.

and JJ and I are professional partiers.... we'll be fine. Our local grocery store has had my favorite vodka (Pearl pomegrante) on sale for $11.99 (normally $19.99-$26.99 depending where you get it) so, we bought our 5th bottle since Friday, last night. We get plenty of binge drinking practice!

i bought 3 friday and 2 last night. if they still have it on sale friday, i'll be buying 3 or 4 more.

they are selling it cheaper than svedka or smirnoff right now! it's crazy!

uh, most official venues don't require badges, they just give'em priority..right? (ie w/cover and early arrival ur good?)

yeah generally, i'm not sure how barcelona is going to do it this year, last year there were sxsw officials at the door.

no one at the back door though.
